Low-energy-X-rays and other diagnostic & screening tools
We are buying patented and/or commercialized inventions related to mammography for the early detection of breast cancer, typically through detection of characteristic masses and/or microcalcifications.
Like all x-rays, mammograms generally use doses of ionizing radiation to create images. Radiologists then analyze the image for any abnormal findings. It is normal to use lower energy X-rays (typically Mo-K) than those used for radiography of bones.
We are interested in digital detectors, known as digital mammography or Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM).
Patents and Intellectual Property
We will only consider technology covered by a patent.
Countries we would like patent coverage in: US patents of interest, then Japan, China, European countries.
