A new control algorithm has been developed it simultaneously optimizes the time and frequency response of feedback control systems. In addition, it ensures greater robustness with respect to the external disturbances of the control system.

This new control algorithm is applicable to a large family of unstable invertible systems, which include a large number of industrial applications. The comparison of the simulation results obtained with the new control algorithm and traditional methods of control applied to a hard disk controller has demonstrated a much higher performance for all benchmarks.
