Overview

Data delivery system is buit between chip, PCBs or device systems. The data transmission presented in this invention is differential transmission with less bandwidth and larger power saving. The method and circuit diagram are presented.

Primary Application of the Technology

It can be applied to data connection circuits in DSP, processor and FPGA chips. It constructs a differential data bus system including driver and receiver with high efficiency on bandwith and power saving. It can be applied to data connection between chips, PCBs and systems.

Compared with raditional LVDS, this method is more efficient in data transmission and saves power.

How the Technology Solves the Problem

A 3-value data bus structure is presented. The data driving and data restoring method and circuit make the differential data bus has one bit per line efficiency with comparisong of a half bit per line for the traditional differential pair. Polarity coding makes the data bus save more power.
