Overview

The problem with current security alarm systems e.g. fire alarm, gas alarm, intrusion alarm, environment alarm etc, they can often trigger a false alarm. The remote station (CMS) receives the alarm signal (or nuisance signal) and cannot distinguish if a real emergency exists or not.

The false alarm creates a problem for the security process, no proven product is capable of giving a reliable true signal.

Our goal is to resolve the false alarm problem with new technology - a signal controller, capable of assisting the security alarm system by providing a reliable true signal.

The new technology can be applied to an existing security alarm system. Using the FAC signal controller the technology can control the zone signal that triggered the alarm, reject or disable the alarm if it is a nuisance signal, provide reliable true signal in the case of an emergency.

How the Technology Solves the Problem

Example:The existing security alarm system (Burglar Alarm System)
A detecting sensor is connected to the alarm panel.

False Alarm Condition:-
- One of the detecting sensor triggers without detecting an emergency - a false alarm.
- Detecting sensor triggers and activates the Alarm Panel sending out a false alarm signal to the remote station (CMS).
- The remote station cannot distinguish if a real Emergency exists or not when receiving the alarm signal.

Emergency Condition:-
- One of detecting sensors detects an intrusion and activates the alarm panel.
- The alarm panel sends out the emergency signal to the remote station (CMS).
- The remote station cannot distinguish if a real emergency exist or not when receiving the alarm signal.

Apply the new technology - a signal controller to security alarm system:-

False Alarm Condition:-
- Detecting sensors connected to an alarm panel (with an added signal controller)
- Detecting sensor triggers without detected "Emergency" - false alarm
- Sensor trigger will return to the normal position within seconds (depend sensor feature).
- Alarm Panel is activated, but this false alarm signal is rejected or disabled by the signal controller.
- No signal sent out.
- The remote station does not receive this nuisance signal.

Emergency condition :-
- Detecting sensor triggers, detected "Intrusion"
- Sensors or same sensor will keep on trigger if the intruder is still at the protected area.
- Alarm Panel (with added signal controller) will activate.
- Signal controller assisted alarm panel, finds a reliable true signal and sends out to the remote station.
- Remote Station can respond instantly without wasting time and manpower knowing they are receiving a reliable true signal.

The current security process (sensors + alarm panel + CMS + team response) is running through the false alarm reduction technology and verified technology try whatever capabilities to reduce or eliminate false alarm but still cannot meet the security requirements of security industry.
Now it is a good new, combination of false alarm reduction technology, verified technology and FAC controller technology will solve the major issue (false alarm problem) of security industry.
