This technology innovates a methodology using a textile woven technique to produce high density, low skew data transmission, fiber optic cabling products, by positioning such fiber optics and holding them in a structure that maximizes optical efficiency while minimizing both attenuation and skew.
The invention uses non optical fiberglass to define the channels in which the fiber optics are set; create and securing the positions of the optical channels such that a near zero increase in attenuation occurs. It also enables the coexistence of copper wire internal to the mesh.
Due to the new technique employed, highest speed, lowest attenuation, lowest skew in the transmitted signal is achieved. This unique high throughput system is ideal for the present Data/Telecommunication Applications it solves the basic issues in today's and tomorrow’s data transport. It directly deals and provides for the requirements for high density, high speed communications in a simple to manufacture, install and test scenario while maintaining the quality of the transmitted signals from 10 to 40Gbits/s or greater. With requirements moving up to 100G bits, this technology provides a simple way to allow for the scale up both in density and required speed for the now and next generation data transmission requirements.
