Overview

The technology relates to methods that enable soft-docking of cells by using a dam wall parallel to the fluid flow direction. The methods are capable of generating a controlled concentration gradient such that the cells are aligned with the concentration gradient after docking.

The invented method is capable of generating a controlled concentration gradient for on-chip monitoring of cell reactions in biological/chemical researches.

Primary Application of the Technology

The technology could be used to help in the process of automating experients to obtain optimal analytes concentration in on-chip monitoring of cell reactions, which are critical in chemical and biochemical reactions.
