Overview

The detector has high sensitivity and electrodes of improved reliability over a traditional micro strip gas chamber (MSGC). The technology contains anode strips produced on one surface of a substrate; columnar anode electrodes are supported on an anode strips and penetrate a double-sided substrate so as to extend into apertures in the strip-shaped cathode electrodes.

Primary Application of the Technology

Detection of radioactive rays - monitoring radioactive rays, X-ray image analysis, medical X-ray imaging, and new methods of gamma-ray imaging.
