Patent for License:

Gene Therapy Treatment for Solid Cancers, Fibrosis, Organ Transplant and more...

A cell specific duplication competent vector that does not affect normal adult cells but expresses a gene specifically to particular cells to self-replicate.

Overview

The technology provides a technique to construct a cell-specific replication competent vector that does not affect normal adult cells in which the vector can express a gene in the cell-specific manner, for example it disrupts specifically malignant tumor cells in the field of gene therapy of a tumor. A gene introduced to cells to enable treatment without injuring normal cells and to construct a cell disrupting vector. The first gene therapy that is selective to sarcoma cells can be possible.

Primary Application of the Technology

Gene therapy - cancer research and treatment, fibrosis - pulmonary fibrosis and hepatic fibrosis, vessel constriction, restenosis, diabetic retinopathy, after stent placement or organ transplantation, arteriosclerosis etc.
