Overview
When light is incident on the photocatalyst, hydroxyl radicals generated will decompose the toxic organic compounds and destruct the pathogenic microorganisms.
Unlike other devices (e.g. HEPA, UVGI, ozone generator), the unique design structure of invented photocatalytic air/water purification device causes no harm to the occupants since the radicals generated stay on the surface of the photocatalyst and no reactive chemical is released into the air stream.
