The easiest way of engaging with us and starting the process of marketing your patents is to simply create a free account, then create a technology available listing - complete the listing form, when you’re happy with it, submit it. We will review the listing, post it live on the Tynax Exchange, and circulate it out to our buyers and network of brokers. We recommend you complete the listing as fully as possible—the better the information you provide, the better your chances of selling the patent and maximizing up the value.
Here are some of the steps involved in selling or licensing your patent assets:
- Create a Technology Available listing - you create a draft listing that is designed to provide the key information needed to trigger the interest of a potential buyer and licensee. The listing is anonymous, so patent numbers are not included in the published listing.
- Syndicate the listing to potential buyers worldwide - The listing is posted on Tynax and syndicated to technologists, their agents and brokers in our global network.
- Potential buyers selected from our database - Using our unique trading system and database of patent buyers, we identify prospects with an interest in matching technologies and topics.
- Listing promoted to global broker network - we discretely approach patent brokers in the U.S., Asia and Europe with the technology for sale or license, providing them with the information they need to present the opportunities to their own buyers.
- Identification of short lists of potential buyers - we help select the most promising prospects so that sales efforts can be focused on this short list of potential buyers.
- Approach sales prospects - we present the assets and technologies and explore various potential applications and opportunities.
- Negotiate terms - we help the parties negotiate the structure and terms of purchase or license. Various alternative structures could be deployed depending on the nature of the deal. We have a network of resources to help.
- Agreement and due diligence process - The terms are agreed and legal documents are exchanged. The patents and technologies to be sold or licensed are studied by the buyer.
- Closing - The legal documents and due diligence processes are completed, the transaction is closed, the intellectual assets are transferred to the acquirer.
