U.S. Patents Related to the Process of Manufacturing Semiconductor Wafers

Overview

 

We are actively buying patents covering inventions in the manufacturing of semiconductor wafers.  Ideally, the patents cover existing techniques and processes.

Patents and Intellectual Property Requested
U.S. patents with broad claims are most valuable to us.  International counterparts would be acquired with the U.S. patents if available.  

We are not looking for provisional patents or applications.

Deal Structure, Licensing and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Our deal structure is usually an outright purchase of the patents with a covenant allowing the seller to continue to use the patented inventions in its own products.

Due Dates for Proposals and Responses
This is an ongoing search.

Additional Information
Our process of evaluating the patents normally takes 2-4 weeks.  The due process can take a little longer depending on how clean the chain of title is for the patents.

What we need from potential sellers is patent numbers, asking price and status of licenses related to the patents.  Please get in touch if you have patents matching these criteria.
