Acquiring patents and portfolios with applications in data-rich complex websites
Overview
As an organization providing technologies necessary for developing and publishing complex data-rich websites, we are looking to grow our patent portfolio through acquisition of patents matching our interests. We would be open to consider patents related to all aspects of modern website development.
Patents and Intellectual Property Requested
Our interest is in issued patents from the major markets--primarily U.S.P.T.O. issued patents and portfolios with international counterparts.
Deal Structure, Licensing and Ownership of
Intellectual Property
Under a patent purchase agreement, we look to acquire rights to the patent. Limited license-back arrangements are possible to allow the patent holder to continue to produce and market their own products incorporating the patented invention.
Due Dates for Proposals and Responses
This is an ongoing search as we are continually looking for new patents in this space. Our analysis process involves studying the patent record itself, and investigating any existing licenses or encumbrances to the patent ownership rights.
Additional Information
Software code supporting the patent would be nice to have but our primary objective is in sourcing patents themselves.
